Sprint Intros U1901 WiMax Modem
Sprint today announced the the PCD U1901 WiMax USB modem. The U1901 connects laptops or netbooks to Sprint's WiMax network for wireless broadband. It is compatible with Windows Vista, XP, and Windows 7, and Mac OS 10.5 and 10.6. It solely uses WiMax, and does not fall back on Sprint's CDMA 3G network when WiMax is not available. Pricing and exact availability weren't made clear.
